SMEs (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises) are the backbone of our market and they represent the tradition of Europe, as well as its future. Every day, every European citizen interacts with some SMEs. We are all responsible for how we will build their future, but also our future.

Anthropogenic climate changes have negative repercussions on a local and global scale. Some of them have already caused substantial and irreversible damage.

Modern society is facing problems of a different nature and many of them are still waiting for a solution. It is no longer a collective sensation, but a fact: the world is changing.

At the same time, having not exploited the potential of new economic models yet, we are in a stalemate which prevents the final overcoming of the financial crisis.

Ecomate wants to contribute to the development programs of the European Union by promoting sustainable solutions that will bring environmental, social and economic benefits.

For the economic development

Environmental, social and economic development are key parameters when making business choices;

All companies must have a sustainable development plan and be transparent in internal governance policies, and in the management of environmental and social impacts as well. This represents the basis for a dialogue with any stakeholder;

The recent economic crises represent an opportunity to make a convenient transition towards a ciruclar economy. At the same time, the digital transformation with software technologies and fast and less bureaucratic tools;

By promoting the sustainability of each single European SME and all the supply chain according to UE standards, we promote the development of Europe;

We purchase and promote "made in Europe" products and services. In European history, we accrued more than two thousand years of knowledge and traditions. Together, we can go back to being the driving force for the other continents.

For the environment

Eco-sustainable development and the green innovation in production processes are key parameters when making purchasing choices;

The extraordinary beauty of the environment and the territory should not be exploited but ma preserved. The environmental education is fundamental as everyone is responsible for its preservation;

Environtmental and noise pollution is the cause of numerous public health problems. The sustainable mobility becomes consequently fundamental, as well as the support and consent of anti- pollution regulations being more and more strict;

The production of renewable energy must be favoured, as it uses new technologies and it optimizes more their efficiency.

For the society

Right decisions must be taken to ensure technological progress and a fast transition towards a new era;

Respect and appreciation for the work of other people, as well as the passion for one's work, customer focus and the protection of the individual and the environment are the foundations for a better European society;

Everyone has the right to work in a safe and healthy environment;

Scientific research and innovation are fundamental to reduce the cost of treatment for all diseases and, consequently, of public health;

All products placed on the European market must be checked and assessed with the calculation of the impacts on public health and the environment;

Education, promotion and choices for a healthy lifestyle, with smart purchases only from sustainable companies must become a prerogative, as transparency and well-being are undeniable rights of everyone.
